Bassadone Automotive Nordic has received Great Place To Work certificates in all three countries in which it operates: Finland, Estonia, and Latvia. This is the fourth consecutive year the company has received the certification in Finland, the third consecutive year in Estonia, and the second consecutive year in Latvia.
Great Place To Work certification is a sign of excellent employee experience, a high-trust culture and commitment to building a great workplace. The certificate is based on a Trust Index survey: the certification is granted to companies with a Trust Index (percentage of all positive claims in the personnel survey) of at least 65%.
“We started the Great Place to Work -project already in 2020 and were, for the first time, certified in autumn 2020. The automotive business is not just cars or spare parts. People and team members are the key to success, and Bassadone’s strategy relies heavily on every individual working for our company. I am extremely proud of all our team members, and I am more than convinced that we have the best teams in the whole industry in Finland and the Baltics. Great Place to Work is not just a certificate on the wall; it proves the strength of our company and the fact that people working for us are our biggest asset,” says Antti Ruhanen, CEO of Bassadone Automotive Nordic.
Fourth certificate for Autoverkkokauppa.fi
The certificate is also fourth for Bassadone’s Finnish retail business unit, Autoverkkokauppa.fi. Autoverkkokauppa employs 200 automotive professionals in five locations in Finland. Autoverkkokauppa’s new CEO, Tomi Orava, has noticed the GPTW feeling inside the company:
“As a new member of Autoverkkokauppa’s team, I have noticed that everyone seems to have the willingness to acknowledge a colleague by greeting them. Notably, people’s empathy in acknowledging each other is at an impressive level. It has been noticed here that people make the Great Place to Work, and it starts with all of us. Certification is an essential part of a responsible corporate culture. People and the environment are the cornerstones of our operations, and it is a pleasure to communicate that to our partners”.
Two certificates in the Baltic countries
Bassadone’s Baltic operations received their second and third certificate. Bassadone employs 195 automotive professionals in the Baltic countries, working in both import and retail.
“The GPTW survey and related certification is, for me, mainly an indication of trust. It captures the employee’s perceptions of how the organization supports their professional growth and the impacts on their overall experience in the workplace, emphasizing employee development and alignment with organizational values. Contributing to a positive workplace culture and strong company helps to grow trust and loyalty. Not only is the certification important, but the GPTW survey is part of the toolset we use as the Autohalles team to build a new-era automotive retail company,” says Autohalle.com’s CEO, Veiko Karu.
