- Bassadone Automotive Nordic to become importer of new Nissan vehicles, parts and services in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania under the entity Nordic Automotive Services Oy

Today is announced the finalization of an agreement between Nissan and Bassadone Automotive Nordic for the distribution of new vehicles, parts and services in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania under the entity Nordic Automotive Services Oy. The conclusion of this transaction is subject to the approval of relevant authorities.
As part of the Nissan NEXT mid-term plan, Nissan is transforming into a leaner and more agile company. This partnership will ensure the continued success of the Nissan business in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, improve market focus and agility, and better serve the needs of the company’s customers and retail partners. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are currently managed alongside The Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland) under the Nissan Regional Business Unit (RBU), Nissan Nordic Europe with headquarters in Espoo, Finland. Under this partnership, all operations in the three Baltic markets will transfer to Nordic Automotive Services Oy as the new distribution partner in the market. As part of the agreement, Nissan will transfer all its employees in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to Nordic Automotive Services Oy.

These changes to Nissan’s business in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have been communicated today to Nissan employees and dealers in the Baltic countries, as well as the Nordic countries. The transfer of Nissan’s business operations in the Baltic markets to Nordic Automotive Services Oy commences today and is expected to close in February 2024.
